How Does Elimination Diet Help Fibromyalgia

Study shows that about 50 percent of people who have FMS or CFS have found relief from the elimination diet. The diet has also helped to relieve them of the symptoms like fatigue, pain, headaches, bloating, and difficulty in breathing. Although food sensitivities will vary from one person to another, the most common culprits are the following foods:

  • Wheat
  • Sugar
  • Dairy
  • Corn
  • Citrus

Before you begin your diet, it’s a good idea to first ensure that this is the right time for you to get started with the diet. Are you planning to attend an important event soon? If so, you might want to consider delaying the diet. If not, then here is everything you need to know about the Elimination Diet.

I know that I cannot consume artificial sweeteners as well as MSG. I have known about the MSG for over 30 years. I learned about artificial sweeteners about 10 years ago. Eliminating gluten did not change my pain level at all. I tried for 6 months and no improvement. When I reintroduced, my pain level did not increase.
