8. Mood Changes
People who have B12 deficiency often complain of mood changes. As a matter of fact, having low levels of B12 can make one susceptible to brain and mood disorders such as dementia and depression. But take note that changes in the mood along with dementia and depression may also be due to some other reasons. It is best to see your doctor before supplementing with B12 to check if these symptoms are a result of B12 deficiency.
9. High Temperature
The lack of vitamin B12 may also lead to an increase in body temperature. It is not entirely clear why this happens, however, some medical practitioners have reported that some fever cases have normalized after they have supplemented the patient with vitamin B12. Nonetheless, it is worth noting that having a high temperature is often a sign of illness and not necessarily due to Vitamin B12 deficiency.
