Elimination Diet for Fibromyalgia

Life After the Elimination Diet

Certain food sensitivities are much easier to deal with compared to others. For instance if you are sensitive to a small food group such as eggs, peanuts or citrus food, you can easily remove them from your diet. However, gluten intolerance is much harder to deal with as is found in staple foods like bread, pasta, noodles. If you find out that you are sensitive to gluten, you may want to schedule an appointment with a nutritionist to come up with a list of foods you should avoid.

If you did not discovered any food sensitivities, you may still want to continue with the healthy eating habits as this can somehow help to improve your health.

I know that I cannot consume artificial sweeteners as well as MSG. I have known about the MSG for over 30 years. I learned about artificial sweeteners about 10 years ago. Eliminating gluten did not change my pain level at all. I tried for 6 months and no improvement. When I reintroduced, my pain level did not increase.
