Treating Raynaud’s Syndrome
Doctors can also recommend some medical treatment options for Raynaud’s syndrome. They may include the following:
- Drugs, such as calcium channel blockers, alpha-blockers, and vasodilators. All of these medications can affect the way your blood vessels will work.
- Injecting chemicals that could potentially block the nerves on your feet and hands.
- In some cases, a surgical procedure could be performed in order to remove the damaged tissues.
Some alternative treatments can also be used. These include supplementation with ginkgo or fish oil. Biofeedback may also be used for the treatment of Raynaud’s Syndrome. However, one research conducted in 2009 has revealed that there’s not much significant difference in the use of these alternative treatments for Raynaud’s Syndrome.
