Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Overview
Multiple chemical sensitivity has been around for decades, but the diagnosis of this condition is still pretty controversial. This condition has been given multiple names, such as environmental illness, chemical sensitivity, or chemical injury. Those who are familiar with the condition will simply refer to it as MCS.
If you have MCS, you will have negative reactions to even the slightest amount of chemical substances in your surrounding or in the products you use. Although chemicals can make anyone sick if they are exposed to it at high levels, those with MCS will have a negative reaction to even the smallest amount. Since chemical can be found in so many daily products and even in the air we breathe in, people with multiple chemical sensitivity can experience chronic symptoms which can range from mild to severe. This is especially so for those who live through life without knowing that they have the condition.
