One of the most talked about treatment in the fibromyalgia community is Cannabidiol (CBD) oil. The feedback from patients who have used the product is overwhelmingly positive. However, there are still lots of confusion regarding the use of CBD oil for fibromyalgia treatment. Before you decide to use CBD oil, there are some important things that you need to know about it. Here are some:
Chemical Compounds From Cannabis Plant
CBD refers to cannabidiol. This is among the 85 chemical compounds derived from a cannabis plant. The oil can be extracted from hemp or marijuana, both belonging to the cannabis plant family. CBD oil derived from marijuana is still not legal in various states. On the other hand, CBD oil that’s derived from hemp is legal in all states.

Yes it will absolutely make you fail a drug test, cause it happened to me!!!! You need to stop telling people that you will not fail a drug test. I am on the methadone clinic and have been clean for 4 years and I started using CBD oil a month ago and I got randomed and had my take homes taken away from me due to testing positive for cannibinoids. I was doing so well using CBD but now I can no longer use it. So please stop telling people they won’t fail a drug test because it happened to me.
So where is some good places is get cbd oils

What is Alpha Lipoic Acid?
Hi Rina,
You can check out this article on Alpha Lipoic Acid. Hope it helps.

I have been using it for 3 months now, it helps with some pain and flares. When you have real bad extreme pain days and lay down it does help you rest. Still seeing if it does help, because there are some days it doesn’t feel like it affects anything.
Didn’t feel it helped at all!!! Tried the oil but want to try the capsules. Medmarket close to me says capsules are highest rated type…..
I have had fibromyalgia for 7 years and most days it’s pretty bad. I’m on Lyrica and a high dose of Percocet three times a day and makes my pain almost tolerable. I did try CBD oil for a month and the only affects that I received were my anxiety levels were way down. It did nothing for my pain but I was able to relax a little bit more. I do also have to take a urine drug test and was not aware that you can test positive because they will take my medication away. I was told that when I asked to try marijuana and they said I could only do one or the other. My issue is let us try it and if it’s working then we can slowly get off the medications that would be great.
The Percocet would make you test positive for drugs, but not the CBD oil….
I have fibromyalgia for19 yrs. I went gluten free 16 months ago. It has given me my life back( to a degree) it has decreased inflammation. On bad,bad days, nothing helps. But I recover quicker. I’m a hairdresser. I’m back a salon 3 day’s a week.
I just finished reading The Plant Paradox by Dr. Steven Gundry. His research shows that the lectins in food can really distrupt our system. It’s similiar to gluten and found in many foods like nightshade plants etc. I highly recommend the book. I am about to make some changes and hoping this really will help. I’m also going to start on CBD oil. It’s important that you have a reputable company supply you.
I highly recommend getting off the nightshade veggies. But you have to give it time. It took me about 2 1/2 to 3 months before I noticed a difference.
Good evening,
I follow with interest your page : https://healthiculture.com/.
I am fibromyalgic for three years, I had several serious problems, the most serious, a paresthesia that I have forced to read several months.
I wanted to ask you if you have also treated the side effects on the use of therapeutic cannabis in more detail.
I am submitting this question to you because I find discrepancies between the various sites I have consulted.
Personally, I was prescribed but I had to suspend it for serious and serious side effects, the most unbearable was a continuous and systematic stabbing pain at the head much stronger than a common headache attack of which I suffered.
Thanks so much
Rosaria Mastronardo
Rosaria,
As every individual is different, side effects can also happen differently depending on individual tolerance, underlying conditions and current medication.

I’m more confused now does the oil affect a drug test or not? Have not tried and don’t want to if it shows up, as I get random tested at my pain clinic also. Don’t want to risk loosing my meds.
As long as you get it from a proper vendor it won’t affect a drug test because the THC content is too low. It’s required by law to have less than 0.2% THC.
