What the Fibro-ADHD Study Found
During the study, more than a hundred people were asked to participate. These people have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Participants were screened for the presence of adult ADHD and were asked to answer questionnaires that the Word Health Organization (WHO) developed.
Some of the questions that were included in the questionnaires are the following:
- How many times do you end up committing mistakes when working on a difficult or boring project?
- How many instances do you tend to misplace and forgot where you placed certain items at work or home?
- If there are tasks that would require you to think, do you tend to avoid it or delay getting started?
The cognition of the participants was then evaluated.
