In Conclusion
The research shows that half of fibromyalgia and CFS patients are observed with small fiber neuropathy. The findings suggest that small fiber neuropathy may be a trigger of fibromyalgia but it also shows that it is just one of the many triggers. So what does this mean for the others? This is something that researchers have to explore further. Their exploration could be easier if they will exclude the groups that have small fiber neuropathy. Each patient is different and the more that they are accurately sub-grouped, the easier it will be for researchers to find the answers to all the questions we have.
