Pre-Menstrual Syndrome/Primary Dysmenorrhea

Women who have FMS and CFS would frequently complain about PMS and dysmenorrhea. These symptoms can include the following:

  • Swollen feet, ankles, and hands
  • Mood swings
  • Headaches
  • Bloating and gas
  • Backaches
  • Abdominal cramps

Usually, PMS happens about a week before the actual period. As for dysmenorrhea, the painful cramps will start kicking in at about the same time as your period starts and will usually last from 1 to 3 days. The painful cramps are either intermittent or sharp.
