Major Depression
It’s been found that almost 70% of those who have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome have to deal with depression. And about a third of them are said to be suffering from an extreme form of depression known as major depression.
Researchers are still doubtful of the fact that depression can cause fibromyalgia, however, they believe that fibromyalgia could increase your risk of depression. In addition, FMS, CFS, and major depression all share overlapping symptoms, such as fatigue and difficulty concentrating.
Possible Nervous System Disorders
There are several other symptoms that will sometimes appear alongside fibromyalgia, and these include the following:
- Possible association with mitral valve prolapse
- Heart palpitations
- Chest pain
- Sudden drop of blood pressure
