Magnesium is a mineral that is highly needed by the body for relieving pains, stiffness and relaxes the muscles including the heart. However, magnesium is not naturally produced by the body that is why we need to get it from the food we eat. Studies show that people who have high magnesium contents in their body also have strong bones and have lesser risks in developing arthritis. Magnesium can also be taken through supplements, in food and oils.
Other than through food, magnesium can also be absorbed through the pores in your skin. Taking a warm bath or soaking your feet in Epsom salt or Magneiusm bath salt is a great way to absorb magnesium.
