Some of the more common symptoms of fibromyalgia are muscle aches, tenderness, fatigue and sleeplessness. However, it can also evolve into other more distinctive symptoms which can be mistaken as a separate condition. Some of these secondary symptoms are migraine, rheumatic conditions, jaw aches, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), noise sensitivity, temperature sensitivity, depression, anxiety, memory issues. Many times, prior to diagnosis, patients may misread the symptoms as the sole cause of their discomfort.
