#5 Migraines
Headaches in combination with diarrhea, skin irritation and iron deficiency are telltale signs of gluten intolerance. These migraine headaches usually start up about an hour or two after consuming gluten-rich food. Once the gluten is removed from the diet, the migraines, in most cases, would subside.
#6 Brain fog
Gluteomorphines contained in gluten behave like morphine, causing people to experience brain fog. In some cases, gluten can also lead to inflammation resulting in cognitive impairment.
#7 Depression
Gluten intolerance can lead to diarrhea and ruin the ability to absorb essential nutrients such as Vitamins B and D, iron, zinc and Omega 3 fatty acids. These nutrients play a great role in developing brain health and mood regulation.
