Ginger root infused massage oil: You can make a massage oil infused with ginger and apply it on any pain areas related to fibromyalgia such as head, neck, lower back and other tender points. When massaged onto pain affected areas, it can get rid of soreness, increase blood circulation and restore energy.

To make your ginger massage oil, infuse freshly grated ginger with two cups of olive oil. Put it on low heat in a crock pot or slow cooker for about three days. Transfer the oil into a glass container. You can add in leaves of rosemary or lavender in the container for added scent and store. Be sure to carry a pocket bottle in your handbag so that you can use it wherever pain strikes.
