In a 1998 survey done to identify food allergies in fibromyalgia patients, 1 out of every 4 patients showed certain degree of lactose intolerance, an inability to digest diary products. Consuming milk and related dairy products are seen as engines that drive fibromyalgia symptoms. Hence, avoiding dairy can relieve and prevent pain in the gastrointestinal tract.

Caffeine:

Caffeine is the antagonist to sleep. Many fall into the vicious cycle of using caffeine to stay awake in the day and not being able to sleep in the night because of it.
