In a 1998 survey done to identify food allergies in fibromyalgia patients, 1 out of every 4 patients showed certain degree of lactose intolerance, an inability to digest diary products. Consuming milk and related dairy products are seen as engines that drive fibromyalgia symptoms. Hence, avoiding dairy can relieve and prevent pain in the gastrointestinal tract.

Caffeine:

Caffeine is the antagonist to sleep. Many fall into the vicious cycle of using caffeine to stay awake in the day and not being able to sleep in the night because of it. No doubt a quick fix for sleepiness in the day, it is certainly not a solution to beat fatigue. Although often referred to as energy booster, caffeine does not provide any energy for the body at all. Caffeine helps people stay awake by blocking the adenosine receptors in our body from receiving sleep signls. According to American Academy of Sleep Medicine, this stimulating effect can last between 8 to 14 hours. Hence, if bedtime is at 10pm, there should not be any coffee consumption after 8am! Or simply go for decaffeinated coffee or tea for its psychological effect.
