Prognosis
The prognosis for CRPS will vary from one patient to another. Spontaneous remission from symptoms may also affect certain people. Others can also suffer from unremitting pain, as well as crippling and irreversible changes despite treatment. Early treatment is important for successful treatment of this disorder but this is not yet supported by clinical research studies. More research is needed in order to fully understand the causes behind CRPS.
