Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is a type of chronic pain condition that is believed to be a result of dysfunction in the peripheral or central nervous system. The usual features of the CRPS are changes in the color and temperature of the affected part. This is sometimes accompanied by burning pain, skin sensitivity, swelling, and sweating.
