How Sugar Leads To Reactive Hypoglycemia

Apart from the aforementioned, sugar can also lead to another syndrome known as Reactive Hypoglycemia.

What is reactive hypoglycemia?
Reactive hypoglycemia refers to a type of low blood sugar caused by carbohydrate intolerance or the inability to utilize high carbohydrate load efficiently. Due to hormonal malfunction, fibromyalgia patients produce an excess of insulin whenever high amount of carbohydrates are consumed. An excess of insulin transport glucose out of the bloodstream, to be used as energy, at an abnormally fast rate hence causing blood sugar levels to fall to unhealthy levels. The low blood sugar can cause dizziness, headaches, fatigue, more sugar or carbohydrates cravings and fluctuations in blood glucose levels.
