Apart from supplements, malic acid can also be obtained from natural sources such as fresh apple juice, apple cider, and fresh cranberry juice. Getting your nutrients from natural sources is always a wiser choice.

According to Dr. John R. Christopher, a traditional herbalist, taking apple cider beverage 3 times a day can help you get your daily dose of malic acid. To make your own apple cider beverage, mix one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar and two tablespoons of raw honey in one cup of distilled water. Add Epsom salt for added magnesium.
