Hot ginger tea: Ginger tea encourage perspiration and forces toxins out of the body through the pores of the skin. Drinking a cup of ginger tea several times a day will bring down inflammation caused by toxins. Patients of fibromyalgia who often suffer from cold and sinus infections can also find relief from ginger as it is know to reduce mucus and congestion in the nasal cavity.

To make a cup of ginger tea, mix 1/4 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger or dried ginger powder or 3-4 slices of ginger root in a glass of warm water. Add fresh lemon juice and raw honey to taste.
