When the body does not produce enough antioxidants to fight the wreck caused by free radicals, it results in oxidative stress. This problem can be eased by eating a rich diet of vegetables and fruits that are packed with antioxidants, such as Vitamins A, C, and E. Some even believe that a vegan diet can greatly improve symptoms of fibromyalgia. However, avoid nightshade vegetables as they are known to cause pain in the joints.
