Hypnotherapy For Fibromyalgia

Considerations On Hypnotherapy For Fibromyalgia

If you want to give hypnotherapy a try, there are certain things you need to be aware of. First, the therapy should be an ongoing process and the patient have to undergo several therapy sessions to see the benefits. Patients can choose to continue with the sessions for as long as he or she wants to.

The NHI suggested certain techniques to make the therapy even more effective. First, patients have to learn how to hypnotize themselves. In addition, teaching the patient to use self-hypnosis outside of the usual therapy session can help in managing pain even better. Finally, recording the sessions and using these recordings in the future may help patients treat pain on their own.

  1. If you have fibro from an emotional disturbance or trauma, try Havening Technique, which is a type of hypnotherapy or at least a m8ndset alteration. It worked for me from the 1st session. The burning heat in my affected area was calmed almost within an hour of the process. Now, I’m not saying it’s a cure but it did make life more manageable for me and has worked for some cases of PTSD.
