What Causes Fibromyalgia Foot Pain?

Medical researchers have just started researching foot pain in people with fibromyalgia. Therefore, it is still not yet clear as to what exactly causes this symptom.

In one study, it was found that almost 50 percent of fibromyalgia patients have complained about pain in one or both feet. This may seem like a big percentage, but the same study has shown that 91% of these patients have neck pain and 79% have hip pain. It was also found that the feet were one of the body parts that are less likely to hurt.

Nevertheless, it is necessary to look into the causes of foot pain since your ability to walk will have a major impact in the way you live your daily life. Furthermore, there is a tendency for foot pain to cause subsequent problems in the knee, back, and hip.
